Santa came to visit today!

We had some very special visitors from the North Pole today! First they told the children some stories and sang Jingle Bells with them! Then all the children got the chance to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what they want for Christmas! 

This year we are emailing the children’s Santa pictures to their parents. The emails have already been sent out so if you haven’t received your child's picture make sure we have your updated email on file! 

Kiddie Academy Town Hall Meetings

We are excited to introduce our new

Town Hall Meetings!

The second Thursday of every month at 5:30, our first meeting will be January 10^th!

We would like to start a community group were we can have regular feedback and communication with our parents. Each meeting will have a topic that we will be discussing and then we will open the meeting up to parents to address any topics they would like. January’s topic will be our Staff, we will have brief introductions from our teachers! 

With these meetings we are hoping to get input on what type of activities you would like to see at Kiddie Academy as well as address and questions or concerns you may have. We may also have occasional guests from other local small businesses!

We hope to see all of you there!

Santa is coming to Kiddie Acadmey...and more december updates!

Wow this year is really flying by…We can’t believe it’s already a week into December! The blog has been neglected recently but we wanted to update it with some reminders for December! The holidays are a busy time for us, full of holiday fun and we want to make sure your children can be apart of all of our activities.  

On the calendar for next week…

Santa is coming to Kiddie Academy!

He will be visiting us Monday December 10th at 10am. This year we have decided to e-mail the pictures to parents that want a copy of their child’s photo! Please make sure we have your current e-mail on file J

Next week all of our Pre-K classrooms have field trips to Crepe Shack and Waffles!

They are scheduled as follows:

Tuesday December 11^th – Jungle

Wednesday December 12^th Monsters

Thursday December 13^th Rainforest

Friday December 14^th Kids Town

The cost is 2.00 a child to attend.

All classrooms will be leaving at 10:45!

Keep in mind!

We will be closed December 24th and 25th for Christmas

and December 31st and January 1st for New Years.

Please let us know if you will be away during the holidays!



Applebee's Field Trip!

Today our Kids Town and Rainforest classrooms took a trip to Applebee's to tour the kitchen and have some lunch!

Halloween Week

  Wednesday, October 31^st is    

  Halloween!!!

o  Each classroom will be having a Halloween party at lunch

o  The children are welcome to come to school in their costumes

 Thursday November 1^st we will be having a Pajama Day!!

Trunk or Treat 2012!

We had so much fun Saturday night at our annual

Trunk or Treat event!

We had some great looking trunks, fun carnival games, a cookie decorating station, a bounce house, a DJ and the tumblebus!! The Children all looked great in their costumes, we lots of Princesses and Superheroes and even a little Turkey!



Thank you to all of our families that came out and made Trunk or Treat a huge success!

providing entertainment it was a huge hit as always!!!

Trunk or Treat is SATURDAY!!!

We have spent the week collecting raffle prizes, setting up games, getting candy and decorating! We are getting really excited for this year’s Trunk or Treat! While we are looking forward to this weekend here is a look back at Trunk or Treat 2011….

Lots of Halloween and Field Trip Reminders.....

Halloween is coming and we are getting very very busy....

 Trunk or Treat!!!

This Saturday October 20th is our annual trunk or treat event! It will be held in our parking lot from 6-8pm. We will have a bounce house, carnival games, a hunted tent, arts and crafts and of course trunk or treating. Please come join us and bring your friends!!

** We are still in need of a few more parents to volunteer to decorate their trunks and pass out candy**

Fire Station Field Trips

Kids Town is going Monday October 22nd

The Fire Station is Free! All classes are leaving Kiddie Academy at 9:40 and walking across the street!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trips

Jungle is going Tuesday October 23rd

Monsters is going Wednesday October 24th

Rainforest is going Thursday October 25th

Kids Town is going Monday October 29th

The Pumpkin Patch costs $6 per child! Every child will come home with their own small pumpkin and help pick out a large class pumpkin! Please remember to have your child wear socks to the pumpkin patch so they can participate in all of the activities :)

This Wednesday the 17th is our schools Chuck. E. Cheese from 3-9! 

Last but not least a few Halloween Reminders...

• Each classroom will be having a Halloween Party on Halloween!
• Children are welcome to wear their costumes to school on Halloween
• Thursday November 1st is going to be Pajama Day!!
• Keep your eyes out for the Halloween Party sign up sheets they will be up early next week!
